Rastermon is Rob Fitzsimmons. I got the name from a costume I created for Halloween in 1992. Rastermon is a superhero who can antialias evil jaggies and convert bit depths faster than an electron beam.
Rastermon soon became the name for my Mac hard drive - complete with an icon of me with dreadlocks!

Ras.ter.mon \ n a person (namely me!) who loves reggae and is a computer graphics artist.

Ras.ter graphics\ n Computer graphics in which an image is composed of an array of pixels arranged in rows and columns. The ability to smudge, airbrush, chalk, and retouch are some of the advantages rasters have over vector graphics. But vectors have the advantage of being scalable and smaller files.

By the way, I am experienced in both, I don't only create raster graphics.
